Fresh Flowers
- Transfer your flowers to a vase filled with water.
- Cut about 1 inch off the flower stems before placing them in a vase.
- All flowers and foliage stems should be submerged.
- Flowers stay fresher and longer when they are hydrated.
- Add fresh water every day when the flowers come in a basket or other container with foam.
- Place flowers in a cool area away from drafts.
- Remove dead or wilting leaves and stems from fresh flower arrangements.
- Ensure a fresh change of water regularly.
Foil Balloons
- Foil balloons can be re-inflated using an air pump or straws, but it will not make the balloon float.
- Helium makes the balloon float and not regular air.
- Balloons regardless of their types when exposed under the sun or placed in a hot area will either deflate or explode.
- Care must be taken always when treating with balloons.
- Avoid sharp objects and edges when placing the balloons.
- Adult supervision is recommended for children to use the balloons as uninflated balloons can be a choking hazard.
